Rolls Royce has always been happy to install a discreet drinks cabinet into its luxury cars, but for the first time cyclists can now buy a Handlebar Minibar – a cycling accessory that transforms a bicycle’s grips into a tiny minibar of sorts.
The idea behind the £5 Handlebar Minibar is devilishly simple; two tiny drinks flasks are held inside the handlebars by a plastic plug.
The design is not intended for regular use, but for when needs must; each flask holds 5ml, which is no more than a sip. It’s the equivalent of a teaspoonful or one fifth of a standard single 25ml shot.

Handlebar storage
The idea of hiding stuff inside bicycle handlebars is not new – with the theft of bike accessories an increasing problem for cyclists, what better place to store multi tools and other small items?
Despite its diminutive size, InCOG holds ten tools including Philips, torx and hex bits. If needed, the tool’s attachments can be tailored to best suit an individual bike by replacing them at any hardware shop.
The design is particularly clever because it flexes to fit inside almost any shape of handlebar. The exposed end-cap, which gives little clue as to what it hides, is designed with a tamper-resistant friction lock & custom key design.
