Every little helps

Walking home for lunch through the snow-dressed townscape I was, among other more positive thoughts, bemoaning that no-one had seen fit to clear the pavement outside their house. We have had only about ten centimetres of snow where we are so it is no hardship for the average adult to clear. But as I hove closer to home I noticed that one resident had taken the effort to clear the pavement – and they had done a good job of it too. It was my house.
