Puncture protection pack up for grabs

puncture prize

You can ride 1,000 uneventful miles only for the puncture fairy to strike with a vengeance. Nobody knows why, but punctures, like buses, tend to turn up in twos and threes. But however unwelcome an interruption your next puncture will be, you can ensure your roadside pit-stop runs smoothly by carrying the correct tools.

With the weather finally improving and many bikes emerging from winter hibernation, we have five micro saddle bags and puncture repair kits to give away. If you have cycle insurance with us, don’t forget that it includes breakdown cover – if you suffer a mechanical breakdown while our cycling (including punctures), we’ll arrange for you and your bike to be recovered.

Win a DHB micro saddle bag and puncture repair kit

We have two puncture repair kits to give away. Each contains a Topeak Micro Rocket AL Pump, a DHB Micro saddle bag and puncture repair kit. To be in with a chance of winning, simply leave us a message below and we’ll pick a winner next week.

Of course the only time I got a puncture on my way to work was when I had nothing with me! Oh to have something so convenient! Looks great.

A great idea! Hopefully one day bike tyres will be puncture resistant but until then the puncture kit will be an essential.

It’s really important to have a puncture repair kit and pump that you trust. I’m a believer in self dependency. I much prefer a micro pump over CO2 canisters.

Thanks for the opportunity ETA, fingers crossed!! 🤞

I would gift to one particular person in our Edinburgh cycling club with thin tyres who gets constant punctures!

They might take the hint to get more puncture proof tyres…

As mentioned in the introduction, punctures, like buses, really do tend to turn up in twos and threes. Such a nuisance, but with this kit, at least I’ll have the confidence of sorting them out.
