I really love electric bikes, I think they are a great way for non-cyclists to get into cycling – it was test riding Wisper electric bike that got me into cycling regular bikes – I’ve now become a bit of an avid bike collector!
Where once electric bikes were ugly contraptions only ridden by nutty professor types, 
the E-bike designers are now thinking about the styling as well as the technology. There are some really attractive E-bike models coming onto the market at the moment, which I think will see an increase in the amount of people using them.
One electric bike that has really caught my eye recently is the ‘Ivy’ from Spencer Ivy. These high-quality German made bikes not only ride well but are very beautiful. They have a decent 50-mile range, and the battery is much smaller than the packs seen on other E-bike models.
