I got the train to and from work. Although it’s taking me longer to get to work it is nice being able to catch up on current affairs and do a bit of facebook admin on my phone.

The walk each side of the station is rather pleasant to due to the glorious weather, I think this whole task may be getting me down a bit if the weather was cold and rainy.

Green Car of the Year 2010 is Toyota iQ

Following a year of turmoil for Toyota involving questions over the safety of its vehicles, the world’s largest car maker has been awarded Green Car of the Year 2010 for its city car, the IQ, announced the Environmental Transport Association (ETA) today.

Least Green Car of the Year 2010 is Lamborghini Murcielago

The Lamborghini Murcielago, a vehicle that over the course of a year emits an amount of CO2 equivalent to felling a football pitch-sized forest of trees, has been named the Least Green Car of the Year 2010 by the Environmental Transport Association (ETA).

Biodiesel for buses is just the ticket

A bus company based in the West Country is using waste cooking oil to run its buses in order to reduce its carbon emissions. The Chipper Bus Project was unveiled in May 2009 and has enabled First Bus to reduce their carbon emissions by 22,500kg, the approximate equivalent of taking 45 cars off the road for 9 months.
