Emergency torch for breakdowns, cycling, and more
January 21, 2025
This torch might look like something straight off an airport runway – think illuminated wands used to marshal planes – but it’s designed for something far more down-to-earth. A versatile tool for cyclists and motorists alike, it combines a standard white torch beam with a 360-degree LED capable of emitting a steady red glow or a flashing light to warn other road users in an emergency.
Compact enough to slip into a cycling jersey pocket, it’s perfect as a backup bike light, a safety beacon if your car breaks down, or, if the situation ever calls for it, directing an errant Airbus to its gate.
For added practicality, a magnetic base lets you attach the torch to your car’s bodywork, leaving your hands free. Alternatively, its foldaway base allows it to stand independently.
