ICON: The world’s smartest bicycle light

ICON bicycle light

There are hundreds of bicycle lights from which to choose, but few as smart as the ICON.

The light’s output of 190 lumens (2 x 95 lumens) is by no means the highest on the market, but the ICON reacts to your situation on the road, flashing brighter & faster at roundabouts, road junctions and to approaching car headlights.

An option to link the light to your smartphone allows you to control its brightness, check how much of the battery’s 15-hour life remains. It can even send a text to warn you if your bike is being interfered with. And if you have a spill, the light detects the shock and can send an emergency text.

A smart light sounds like a cool addition to the never ending quest for getting noticed on Britain’s ever increasingly scary roads.

Up next, a smart bicycle light that’s smart enough to make the morning tea. (Earl Grey, slice of lemon. That’ll do nicely, ta.)

“flashing brighter & faster at roundabouts, road junctions and to approaching car headlights” would certainly help to give me the confidence to try and cycle at night. I’m too scared to try it at the moment

Such freedom cycling and comfort being insured. I love reading ETA news on great technology. So much lighting choice, the IKON looks superior. I get confused and my front light doesn’t stop me being scared on roundabouts with traffic getting too close. It is quite old now though.

    Thanks

    THE ICON!
Many lights grace the bikes of the roads, but none like the ICON, it’s smart & has modes,
With it’s 95 lumens, to light up cars and the humans,
Flashing brighter at turns, quicker the light learns,
Roundabouts & junctions it adjusts with its functions,
The smartphone is its mate, texting you – if moved, – making you late,
Ahh, the light of Kings a Knight of the road, the ICON light – so many modes.
