The Curve rear light is the latest offering from Bookman – specialists in stylish and functional bike accessories.
The Cree LED puts out 37 lumens and runs continuously for up to 24 hours. The light costs around £25 and the USB charger, which recharges the batteries from empty in only 2 hours, will save a small fortune in batteries.
The completely weatherproof light promises to keep you visible through rain, hail or snow.

Just joined a local cycling club – given up my Claud Butler racing bike. Now have mountain bike given to me by grandson. At 81 I need to be clearly visible to all other road users as I cycle around my community. My handbell is too heavy to carry too. Can you provide a battery powered loud bell too?
Alex
That’s a great idea!
Mike Croker
‘K’-mark?
Mike Croker
Ah, it flashes, so no ‘K’-mark.
Low battery warning?

A most efficient shape, designed for the job and economical to run. What more could one ask for?
Raf
Now that is a beautiful accessory!
James Russell
Please let me have one. Fixed to the rear seat post, it’ll be my only chance of being ahead of the curve.
Anthony
I trust they’ve sorted the switch – please let me try! So often the switch fails to change the flash mode, or even switch it off. I find it helps to VERY gently clean the contacts, both the gold comb and the black button.
btw, bad English: “Environmentally friendly”! Don’t we say “child friendly”, “user friendly”, “dog friendly” – as in friendly to children, users and dogs? So how can anything be friendly to the environmentally? It’s Environment friendly!
Rob Lewis
Looks a nice light, but pity it only appears to attach to the seat post – no good if you’ve got a rack bag or saddle bag.
Bruce
I like the idea of a broad view and a bright one at that. I’d love to win one.
Dave Buck
Looks great will make my bike look even better.
