Sharing the streets with SUVs that wouldn’t look out of place on a battlefield is intimidating and dangerous for other roads users. It got us thinking about what bicycles might look like if they were styled to be just as threatening.
Forget bull bars, the ridiculous-looking bike we built to illustrate the point screams move out of my way courtesy of an electric chainsaw. And for those who don’t get the message, a flamethrower is primed and ready for action.
Luckily, bicycles remain for the large part free of the superfluous (and sometimes downright dangerous) styling that helps sell cars. Long may that continue.
