Which? names best holiday insurance for older travellers

November 30, 2010

Which? has named the Environmental Transport Association (ETA) as a ‘best buy’ for travel insurance for those aged 65 to 74.

The independent advice magazine analysed twenty-two aspects of travel insurance and has published the results in a league table of which companies provide the best all-round cover.

A spokesperson at the ETA said: “The Which? report shows that older travellers can get a premium travel insurance policy at a decent price.”

No surcharge for older travellers

Travel insurance from the ETA has a low excess and covers those under 76, trips of up to 60 days and pre-existing medical conditions provided they have not changed in the previous twelve months.

Full results of the travel insurance report are published in the December 2010 edition of Which? magazine and at which.co.uk.
