DSA to introduce case studies into theory test
September 4, 2009
The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) is introducing a new element to the theory part of the driving test.
From September 28th candidates sitting the test will read a case study before being asked five multiple-choice questions. This addition comes on top of the existing multiple choice and hazard perception sections.
A spokesperson at the DSA said: “Over time, we plan to introduce more case studies into the theory test to assess candidates’ understanding of what they have learned.”
The decision to add these scenarios comes after a consultation involving almost 7,000 people.
