Recommended Cycle Locks
When leaving your bike unattended in a public place, we ask that it is secured using a lock that has been rated either bronze, silver or gold by Sold Secure, depending on its replacement value. To help you, we have selected a range of affordable cycle locks that meet our policy requirements.
Please note: security cables must never be relied upon to secure bikes, or used as an extension to your bike’s lock. If you fail to use a Sold Secure rated lock to secure your bike through the frame to an immovable object your cover could be invalid. Find out more about how to lock your bike.
Gold-rated locks
For bicycles, inclusive of any fixed accessories, which have an insured value of £1,500 or more.
