Winter is coming – cycling lights up for grabs

cateye lights

We all deserve an Indian summer, but this is the time of year it pays to check and – if necessary – renew your winter bike lights.

In honour of the forthcoming change of season we have a USB-rechargeable Cateye Volt 200XC and Rapid Mini light set worth Β£50 to give away. The compact USB-rechargeable, 200-lumen light has a choice of modes and a recharge time of three hours.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply leave us a comment below and we’ll pick a winner next week.

Ethical insurance from the ETA

Cycle insurance from the ETA offers new-for-old replacement for life – unlike other providers, we don’t devalue your bike however old it is.

Every cycle insurance, breakdown cover or mobility scooter insurance policy you buy from us helps us campaign for a cleaner, safer transport future. Little wonder the ETA has been judged Most Ethical Provider 2021 by The Good Shopping Guide.

It’s my son’s first winter on the roads. He is 6 and is adopted, so has develomental trauma. That means he is in danger of “flipping out” quite easily. We have been doing pavement riding for over 6 months now and the joy he gets from being properly “in control” is amazing. His confidence has soared.
I hope to pass on my bike lights to him and get a new set with power enough to keep both of us safe! USB is the way to go.
