Win a Park Tool puncture repair kit

park tool puncture kit, competition

You can ride 1,000 uneventful miles only for the puncture fairy to strike with a vengeance.

Nobody knows why flats, like buses, turn up in twos and threes, but the anecdotal evidence speaks for itself. However unwelcome an interruption your next puncture will be, you can ensure your roadside pit-stop rums smoothly by carrying the correct tools.

This top-of-the-line repair kit from Park Tool Ride, which comes in its very own tight tool roll with a cinch strap, is just the ticket. Best of all, we have one to give away.

The puncture repair kit includes:

  • Pocket Protector Micro Pump
  • Multi tool
  • Pre-glued Patch Kit
  • Tyre Lever Set
  • Emergency Tyre Boot
  • High pressure pressure gauge
  • Schrader / Presta adaptor

Win a Park Tool puncture repair kit

At £55, the Park Tool BTR-1 puncture repair kit shares the high price as well as the build quality of a Rolls Royce, but good quality tools should last more than a lifetime. We have one to give away for you to test. Please leave a comment at the bottom of the page and we will pick a lucky winner next week.

    Sure they do!
    a) the local authority has trimmed a hawthorn hedge and not cleaned up properly (my brother got 7 puncture off this one);
    b) one did not get all of an offending item out of the outer tube the first time.

    Hello,

    Last Saturday I took a long spin on my Mobility Scooter (nearly 5 hours averaging 10 km per hour. One part of the journey was a scenic path through woodland (advertised as suitable for pedestrians and wheelchair users) between Tinahely (Co. Wicklow) and Greenhall. Unfortunately it appears that no wheelchair user had used it before me! It was a bumpy ride!! Fortunately I didn’t notice the (slow) puncture on my right rear wheel until I arrived at the trail end. I felt devastated. A kind Samaritan nipped off in his car and returned with a puncture repair canister that sealed the leak until I got home. Whether I win this kit or not, I shall definitely buy it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
