The Environmental Transport Association was established in 1990 as an ethical alternative motoring organisation and sustainable travel lobby group.
Our aim is to raise awareness of the impact of excessive car use and help individuals and organisations to make positive changes in their travel habits. We continue to be a completely not-for–profit organisation – our sustainable transport campaigning and environmental projects are funded by the revenue from the services we provide. These include an international breakdown service, which has won awards from both Ethical Consumer magazine and the Green Fleet awards, plus a number of ethical and environmentally friendly insurance services.
