What should I do if I breakdown?

What is your average response time?
Our average response time is forty minutes but we aim to get to you within the hour. If we don’t, we’ll offer you a £10 refund.
Do you have your own branded recovery vehicles or do you use local agents?
We use local approved recovery agents so that we can get to you as quickly as possible.
What is the maximum age of vehicle you cover for breakdown cover in the rest of Europe?
We only cover vehicles up to and including the age of fourteen at the start of the policy.
Can I cover my caravan or trailer for breakdown cover?
Yes, we have two options of cover available – we can either recover your caravan or trailer if your vehicle breaks down or we can recover the caravan or trailer if the caravan or trailer breaks down. This cover is not included as standard and needs to be selected when purchasing your breakdown cover.
What benefits will I be entitled to while travelling abroad with my vehicle?
You will be entitled to the same benefits you would normally receive in Britain when travelling abroad.
Are parts and labour covered under my breakdown policy?
They are not included as standard but could be covered by purchasing our auto repair policy where we will pay for any parts or labour up to £500 as a result of a breakdown attended by us.
Would you cover me for a callout if I’ve had an accident in my vehicle?
We do provide assistance after an accident but you need to inform your motor insurers of the accident first as this service may be included in your motor insurance policy as standard. If your motor insurers are not informed in the first instance, this may affect your motor insurance claim if made at a later date.
If I apply for cover today, can I be covered for any breakdowns immediately?
No, any callouts made within the first 48 hours of the start of the policy are not covered.
