Lynzi gets electric - tales from my journey on the electric bike | London rider

On my first day on the Wisper I am at meetings in London – I ride from Clapham Junction station to Hammersmith, Covent garden and then back to Waterloo.

This was my first time ever cycling round London; it’s really nice to travel by bike – you see so much more of the city it feels rather liberating – especially weaving in and out of queuing traffic!

I wasn’t overly sure of where I was going all the time, but with help of the Iphone map, I got there in the end – bar a couple of wrong turns. I think I may invest in one of those ‘sat navs’ for bikes – or maybe there is an app for that – I will investigate!

I already feel I am part of the ‘cycling fraternity’ (although I expect many cycling purists wouldn’t welcome me with open arms due to the battery pack fixed to my bike). I spoke to one person who was on one of the London hire bikes and I also got chatting to some cyclists in the cycle carriage on the way home from London.
