So, not a very good beginning for Geoff Hoon.

The increase in flights from Stanstead Airport is the first major decision by Geoff Hoon as Transport Secretary and it seems to show that he is no friend of the environment.

It is a pity that his first high-profile decision is so environmentally negative: especially, that he has allowed the increase in night flights.
From this, though, things can only get better.
